Citrus Sugar Cookie

Ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, lye, cocoa powder, kaolin clay, calendula petals, essential oils (wild orange, lemon, line, tangerine, turmeric and vanilla). Topping:calendula petals and rock salt.

The lye solution goes through a chemical process called saponification when mixed with oils and becomes a completely safe and gentle cleanser for the skin. 

Essential Oils: Something that makes my soap unique from other brands  is that I only use doTerra brand essential oils. I trust their safe and ethical harvesting and oil extraction processes. They do extensive 3rd party testing that leads me to trust the purity and safety of their product for use on the skin. These oils are more expensive but I believe they are worth it for the safety of my customers.

I use the highest quality ingredients that I possibly can and I always seek out local sources when possible. Most ingredients are organic.
